Team ranking
A team enters the ranking after its first tournament match. Before that it has no points.
The starting value from 100 to 2000 is made of four factors: own wins, the strength of the beaten opponents, the opponent network (how many different teams those you beat have beaten), and play: the share of rounds taken and the players' YORU Rating, which weighs half as much. The ten best results count in each. When FACEIT knows the team's players, their average ELO makes 45% of the start.
On top of it come head-to-head results: beating a stronger team gives more, losing to a weaker one takes more. What the winner gets and what the loser loses are counted apart: the opponent's form in its last five matches and how often the two teams have met count. Beating the team you lost to last time gives a little more. A rout (by rounds and by the players' rating) moves points up to a quarter more, an even game up to a quarter less, and the ELO of the lineups counts in who was the favourite. A series weighs more than one map. A technical defeat counts as a normal loss.
The older a result, the less it weighs; results older than half a year do not count. Tournament places give no points by themselves, and scrims do not count.
